Bret Hart returned to WCW as a substitute at a series of west coast house shows this past weekend. Bret wrestled Hulk Hogan in 3 matches that may have a long term impact on WCW. Eric Bischoff was originally planning on feuding Hogan vs Bret this coming fall with Bret as a good guy and Hogan as a bad guy. Hogan obviously turned good not to long ago and red and yellow Hulkamania is running wild. Hulk's turn back to the red and yellow has brought him quite a bit of success and some pretty decent quarter hour tv ratings as well. Bischoff recently asked Bret if he would return as a bad guy but thats going to be pretty hard to do. Who will want to boo Bret at this point with Owen Hart's tragic death and the personal tragedy Bret has been through? With Hogan and Bret clear cut good guys at this point maybe the feud will have to wait. Maybe it wont wait? Bischoff attended the Hogan vs Hart match in San Fransisco and the main reason he was there was to try to tell who the crowd was cheering for. Some in attendance are saying the crowd was split 50/50. Mark Madden thinks that Bret will end up being the bad guy in this feud. |
